Emily and I drove up to Sugarloaf this weekend for a long weekend of skiing. Saturday was great. They had 7+ inches of snow on Thursday so the conditions were much better than Okemo last weekend. Sunday was really cold, something like -1F in Kingfield with a -17F windchill. I assume it was somewhat colder on the mountain. We took it easy and warmed up after every 3 or 4 runs, and used hand and foot warmers. Monday was warmer with great conditions, but Emily had a somewhat nasty fall at around 2:00 that ended the weekend.
Went skiing at Okemo this weekend. Pretty icy but still a good time.

Weekend hike up Mount Washington
Taking a short weekend trip to Mt Washington this weekend. Camping Friday and Saturday nights, hiking Saturday, and shopping and then home on Sunday.
Emily and I hiked the Lion’s Head Trail up Mt Washington. I think it took us around around 3.5 hours, but I’m posting this months later so I’m not really sure. Total distance was around 8.2 miles.
We tried to hike it in 2010 and made it somewhat close to the of Tuckerman’s ravine, up a different trail. I thought we were almost to the top, but apparently we weren’t even close.
Out on the water for the day, had a blast!
Climbed the FunHouse route of Cathedral Ledge last weekend with Ryan. Had a great time, hope to do it again soon!
